Heartburn natural remedies 

Heartburn is usually due to acid reflux from the stomach into the esophagus, often due to a condition known as gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD. However, it can also be due to other problems, so you might want to visit your doctor and find out what the cause is, particularly if the heartburn is severe. Heartburn itself may only be a symptom of a more serious problem.




In any case, you can try modifying your diet and lifestyle a bit and see if it helps. In some cases, heartburn may just be due to bad habits and not any disease or medical condition. Make sure that you eat your meals on time, avoid too much spice and oil, and do not overeat.


You should also eat slowly and chew your food well. Try drinking a glass of buttermilk or eating a little yoghurt after your meals. You should also stop smoking if you do smoke, and cut down on alcohol, caffeine, and carbonated drinks.

You can also boil cumin seeds in water for a few minutes, and then drink this concoction. You can add a little honey to it if you like, and a few drops of ginger juice as well.
