Smelly feet home cures

Feet do smell there is no getting around that. Our feet are confined to narrow, tight shoes with no room for any ventilation, for hours on end. Wearing socks can cause the feet to feel further confined.

Most of us tend to buy shoes that could be a trifle tight for our feet. Our feet sweat in the confines of the shoes and this sweat contributes a great deal to the smell that you notice when you take off your footwear at the end of the day. Most of us tend to be a little lazy about foot hygiene.

Your sweaty feet, in the narrow confines of your shoes, become the perfect breeding ground for a variety of infections. These usually attack the area under your nails. That is how the space between your nail and the flesh becomes home to fungal infections. These infections can cause the nail to become thick and flaky and can also cause your feet to smell.

What you can do about your smelly feet is wash them frequently. You can also soak them in water when you get back from work. Try to wear shoes that fit you well. Wash your shoes regularly and wear fresh socks every day. Try to keep your shoe and socks off your feet for some time each day. This will allow the feet to breathe. In the summer try to wear open sandals rather than shoes.
