Gall Bladder Remedies
What exactly are you referring to when you say gallbladder trouble? The most commonly experienced problem with the gallbladder is gallstones. However, there are also other diseases of the gallbladder, so unless you are sure what the problem is, you should not try to treat it yourself.
Gallstones themselves are quite common and mostly harmless. However, the trouble usually begins when stones grow too large or get stuck in the bile duct, thus obstructing the flow of bile into the intestine. When this happens, gallstones can be extremely painful. For half an hour to up to four hours, patients experience what are called gallstone attacks — extreme pain in the upper right abdominal region, which sometimes even spreads to the lower chest, the back and the shoulders. In some cases, patients also experience nausea and vomiting.
Two key factors in the development of gallstones are weight and diet. Controlling both can help ease the condition, although sometimes more extreme measures such as surgery cannot be avoided. If you are overweight, try to lose some weight, but don't do it in a hurry. Sudden weight loss or weight gain can increase the chances of gallstones. Similarly, a diet that is extremely high in fat, or a diet that entirely lacks fat, can cause gallstones. The best approach is to have a balanced diet. Read more about: Gall Bladder Symptoms
