Alternative cure for treating menstruation problems

For scanty bleeding I took a pill named "emtee" about two times but even after that also there is no proper flow. Does this pill have any side effects?

Alternative cure for treating menstruation problems

Sorry, I am unable to find anything on the pill you mention. Could you write back to tell me what its composition might be?It's hard to find out something about a drug based on its brand name sometimes. In the meanwhile, I can suggest some remedies for your irregular menstruation problem if you like.

Irregular periods may be caused by several things. Hormonal imbalance, sudden weight gain, stress or maybe a recent bereavement. Starting off a moderate to rigorous exercise regime sometimes helps kick start your period. Getting on a low carb diet or a low glycemic index diet will also help. The idea is to eat more lean proteins and healthy fats and to keep away from refined carbohydrates such as processed wheat flour, sugar, potatoes, corn flour etc. Eat a lot of vegetables, some fruit and plenty of fish and lean meat. Avoid saturated and transfats.

If you are overweight, try and lose about 10% of your body weight. That can make a tremendous difference. If you have other symptoms of a hormonal problems such as increased facial hair, increased body hair, weight gain, mood swings etc. you should consult a gynaecologist to treat the underlying issue. Also get your iron levels checked. If you are anaemic that may be the problem.

Some herbal remedies that are known to help in regulating your menstrual cycle are  Chaste tree or Monks's pepper, available in both capsule and powder form. You can grate some fresh ginger and make an infusion with it, which you can drink twice a day. Also take a Vitamin E supplement and some Omega 3 fats either in your diet in the form of fish or as a supplement. Evening Primrose oil may also show some benefit for this problem. But the most important thing is to get a good diet and exercise regime in place.
