Vinegar health benefits For years apple cider vinegar has been accepted as a wonder health food. Most people believe that apple cider vinegar contains amazingly versatile properties which make it capable of successfully curing a wide range of medical conditions.
It is believed that the beta-carotene contained in apple cider vinegar helps to destroy the elements that cause the ageing.
Apple cider vinegar is used as a remedy to help people suffering from arthritis. It is believed that apple cider vinegar helps flush certain acid crystals out of the body. Since these acid crystals are responsible for the joints becoming stiff, apple cider vinegar is credited with curing arthritis.
Another such remedy that people believe in is that regular dosage of apple cider vinegar can help lower blood pressure. Apple cider vinegar, it is believed, helps in thinning the blood. Thin blood means it can circulate with greater ease. Thin blood is less likely to put pressure on the heat, thus reducing chances of high blood pressure. It is also believed that apple cider vinegar contains pectin, an element that removes the cholesterol from your body.
Despite these claims, you should remember that very few studies have supported these claims. There have been no in depth studies on the effect of apple cider vinegar on various parts of the human body. You should contact your medical practitioner before you start on any treatment for your high blood pressure, involving apple cider vinegar.
