Then some sudden change, caused by medication or by some bodily change, can alter the amount of yeast in your body. Suddenly the yeast multiplies and that is why you get an infection.

The easiest remedy that you can try at home is eating yogurt. This simple remedy helps in bringing the yeast under control. Some women find applying yogurt directly on their vaginas effective too. Eating garlic, even though smelly, can help you control the infection and make you feel better. You can also wash yourself with water as often as possible. This will help you feel better. Changing underclothes often helps too. Drinking water always helps get rid of any kinds of infections and you should increase your intake of fluids.
