Natural Cure for Swelling Gums

Here are some of the most effective ways to treat swelling gums:

  • Extract juice from aloe vera and coat on the infected gum.
  • Rinse your mouth with lukewarm salty water. This helps to draw out debris and remove infection from the mouth.



  • Many people believe that gargling with saliva water can also help in curing swollen gums.
  • Gargling with a mixture of cinnamon powder and water is also helpful for treating infected gums.
  • Smear honey on the infected gum.
  • Eating apples is also a good remedy for pulling out infection from the swollen gums.
  • Gargle with a mixture of lemon juice and salty water.
  • Blanch pomegranate peel in water and gargle.
  • Extract liquid from rose flower and squeeze half lemon to the liquid. Apply this mixture on the infected gum to cure swollen gums.
  • Take a piece of ginger and sprinkle some salt on it. Rub this ginger over the infected gum in order to relieve swelling and reduce pain.
  • Extract oil from castor seeds and mix it well with camphor. Apply this prepared paste on the infected gum twice a day. This will reduce swelling and speed up recovery.
  • Mix powdered bishop's seeds with mustard oil and apply over the affected gum for alleviating swelling and pain.
