Having piles can be very painful experience. However, there are several remedies that can help you treat them. The most common cause of piles is constipation and the most effective way to treat it would be by drinking lots of fluids and eating fiber rich foods.
These results in easy and soft bowel movements that would help reduce the pain. The acute pain and burning sensation accompanying piles can be reduced by applying aloe vera gel on the anus. Onions serve as an instant remedy for dry or bleeding piles. Take one small raw onion, add 3-tablespoons of sugar to it and eat it twice everyday. Applying witch hazel with a cotton ball 3 times daily helps to shrink the swollen veins. You should also control your salt intake as excess salt retains fluids in the circulatory system and can cause bulging of the veins in the anus. Black cumin seeds are very effective in relieving pain caused by piles. Cumin seeds when baked in an open pan and mixed thoroughly with a spoonful of black cumin powder provide an excellent mixture, when a tablespoon of this is added to a glass of water and consumed it could bring you immense relief. Alternately you could also brew strong, warm tea using Lady's mantle also known as yarrow and directly apply it to the hemorrhoids with a cotton ball around 4-5 times a day. You could also take the peels of a pomegranate, put them in a vessel of water and bring the water to boil. Drink this water once in the morning and once in the evening. This remedy helps in the quick removal of piles. If you are experiencing excruciating pain due to piles, then a short-term remedy is to apply some coconut oil on the affected parts. This brings a soothing effect to the piles in a very short time, but it would not treat the problem permanently.
Soaking yourself in a bathtub of warm water is one of the best remedies. The warm water increases the flow of blood to the area and helps kill the pain and shrinks the swollen veins. Placing an ice pack to an external hemorrhoid for about 15-20 minutes would also help in relieving the itching and swelling in that region. Using the squatting position for bowel movements helps in easing the pain. Exercising daily is also very important as it improves blood circulation in the abdominal region thus helping in preventing piles.

Piles natural treatment In most cases, no treatment is necessary for hemorrhoids, but if they are particularly severe or prolapsed, then surgery might be needed. Hemorrhoids are usually caused by a poor diet that leads to chronic constipation, but can also be caused by chronic dysentery, which may also have a poor diet as its underlying cause or may be due to some other bowel condition. One of the first things you should do is get your diet together. Start eating more fiber and drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. This should be enough to stop constipation, allowing your hemorrhoids to heal on their own and preventing them from occurring again in the future. If you are obese or have high blood pressure, these might also be contributing to the development of hemorrhoids, so you should try to tackle these two problems.
Till the hemorrhoids go away, you can use some home remedies for relief, if they are particularly painful or uncomfortable. A cold compress applied to the anal area a couple of times a day helps soothe the pain and also temporarily constrict the blood vessels in the area. You can also apply aloe gel or a little bit of witch hazel to the area a couple of times a day.
