Tinnitus home remedies

The medical term for “ringing in the ears” is tinnitus. This is an ailment that is primarily caused due to some kind of damage in the part of the inner ear which is responsible for the ability to interpret sounds into legible meaning. On the whole, the inner ear is the most fragile part of the ear, and any infection or damage to this part can cause tinnitus.

It is important to first determine the causes of your ailment before you start with any kind of cure for it. The primary reason for tinnitus is usually prolonged exposure to very loud noises that are very regularly heard. If you live near a railway line, for instance, you would not even realize that this is the noise which may be responsible for your problem.

After examining your surroundings, if you find this to be true, you must start covering your ears when you are in that environment. Use ear protectors or cotton balls.

Alternatively, you can spill saline solution in your ear to clean it. Pour some freshly squeezed onion juice in the ear and let it stand for five minutes. This will also help to clear out dirt. Hydrogen peroxide can also be used for cleaning purposes. Just ensure that you do not probe too deep while cleaning your ear, as this may cause further damage.
