Insomnia home treatment People with lots of fears and worries often find themselves unable to sleep. They find themselves constantly thinking of their problems. If this is the case, then you should look around for something to keep you occupied.
You can take up some regular sport and ensure that you practice it every day. This will ensure that you tire yourself out, making it easy for you to finally fall asleep. If you are overworked at your work place, then you could be finding it difficult to fall asleep due to this.
Other possible reasons for insomnia are drinking too much tea or coffee, starving or eating your meals at irregular times.
You can help yourself by ensuring that you eat everyday. Your food should consist of a variety of food items. Eat lots of raw vegetables, green leafy vegetables and increase your intake of water. Long gaps between meals can also cause problems. Eating fruits and drinking fruit juices will help you too. When you want to sleep, read a book or listen to some music that you like and enjoy. Select a room that is calm and quiet. You can shut the windows and doors to ensure that you are not disturbed by any noise from outside. A warm bath can relax you and help you fall asleep at night. A cup of warm milk will also help you feel sleepy.
