Alternative Cure for Gum Infection
Gum infection, also known as gingivitis, is usually caused by bacteria that live in the plaque in your mouth. It could also be caused by a problem in the skin of the gums. The common symptoms of this problem are swollen gums, shiny gums, discoloration of the gums, mouth sores, and a receding gum line.
The other symptoms include bleeding in the gums and itching in the gums. You can prevent gingivitis by maintaining good oral hygiene. You should switch to using a toothpaste that contains peppermint and saga oil.
Ensure that you don't brush vigorously and only use a soft brush. Follow this with a flossing and warm water gargle regimen.
Gargling with a warm saltwater solution can also be beneficial because it has a general soothing effect and the salt is helpful in drawing out and draining abscesses. Ice is an effective and natural anti-inflammatory agent. If you suffer from swellings of any kind, you could apply an ice pack on the affected area. You should suck on ice chips to replenish any loss of saliva. In addition, you can make a thick paste of baking soda and water and apply this all over your gums in order to prevent bacteria. You can also slowly chew a single clove or you can rub your teeth with clove oil.
