Naturally Cure Ingrown Hairs

Ingrown hairs are extremely painful and can actually blow up into full-fledged wounds if not taken care of properly. Once you have mildly ingrown hair, you must begin treating it at once to avoid any further damage or agony. If this is a fresh ingrowth, you will need to exfoliate your skin with a scrub. Make your own by blending almonds, walnuts or oatmeal in a blender to the consistency of coarse sand and mixing this with enough oil to form a paste. For best results, use olive oil. You can rub this over your skin in gentle circular motions all over the area that has ingrown hair. This will slough away dead skin cells that may have trapped the hair beneath the surface of the skin leading to an ingrowth. This will also loosen up your pores and cause the hair to come out more freely.

You must try this procedure after a hot bath, so that the pores of your skin are open and more receptive to the cleaning procedure. You should also avoid shaving any further if you have ingrown hairs due to this. A very close shave can sometimes lend to this problem. Try to wax as much as you can, if it is an area you can wax. This is the best long-term solution.
