Homemade remedies for rash around tattoo

The kind of rash you describe is possibly scar tissue that forms when the body is healing and recovering from any procedure wherein the skin has been opened. These are commonly known as scabs. If you have a rash formed due to scratching off a scab, then the problem with it will be that it itches a lot. In this case, you can apply cooling yogurt to the rash around your tattoo. Mix a teaspoon of rose water in a cup of yogurt and apply this for about 20 minutes. For momentary relief, you can also apply a cool compress of ice cubes to the rash. Applying olive oil to this rash will help in healing it as well. You can also prepare a baking soda soak and apply this to your rash. Make a thick paste of baking soda and a few drops of water, and leave this on for a while. This will help with healing the rash as well as sanitize your skin.

Chilled milk cream will also help soothe and heal any kind of rash. Make a paste of sandalwood and honey and apply this to the rash to soothe it. Try not to keep your rash covered as far as possible. Fresh air is the best way to help it heal faster.
