Home cure for menstrual pain

Pain and discomfort during the five days of the menstrual cycle is a problem that many women complain of.  Several women complain of dragging pains in their things and calves. Cramps are another common complaint of women during the days when they have their menstrual cycle.

You will find that a hot shower can often work wonders and help you forget the cramps and the pain. Lying down with a hot water bottle can also help you feel better.  You can help yourself feel better during those days by avoiding food that is high in sugar or salt. This can make you feel sluggish and emphasizes your low self-esteem. Instead, you should eat vegetable and lean meat, fruit juices and a variety of fruits. Avoiding coffee and tea will also help you feel better. Instead you can drink a cup of herbal tea.

You can also give yourself a small massage with warm olive oil. Rub this on your stomach and then lie down for half an hour. Drinking two tablespoon of apple cider vinegar during this period will give you relief. Eating a banana generally help relieve the pain of menstruation.  You can also make a decoction with some pieces of ginger and a tablespoon of brown sugar in a cup of water. Boil this on low heat and drink when it cools down.
