A sinus infection can often make life difficult for people. The cavities around the nose and the mouth are infected and filled with mucous. There are several home remedies that you can adopt to cure your sinus infection.


A sinus infection can be both fungal and bacterial. You can try these remedies that will work effectively on both these infections.

Inhaling steam is one of the easiest and most common remedies for a sinus infection.


You will require a pot of hot water. Use the steam rising from this to clear your clogged nose. Adding some eucalyptus oil will also help. Another easy remedy requires the addition of three cloves of garlic to the hot water before you inhale the steam. Chopping the garlic will ensure that the essence is released into the hot water. You can also eat raw garlic in order to clear your sinus infection. Adding chopped garlic cloves to a cup of milk before boiling it is also helpful. Boil the milk till it is reduced to half, and then drink it at bedtime.  Drinking apple cider vinegar is also beneficial in clearing the sinus. Add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water and drink it.  You can drink this thrice a day.
