Jaundice alternative treatment

Jaundice is a condition that results in the skin taking on a yellow tinge, but this is more prominent in the white area of the eyes. This occurs due to an excess development of the bile pigment bilirubin in the blood. The symptoms of jaundice include headaches and fever, loss of appetite, severe constipation, nausea, extreme weakness, and a dull pain in the liver region.

Jaundice is mainly caused due to obstruction of the bile ducts, diseases that affect the liver such as malaria, yellow fever and typhoid, and in some cases haemolytic anaemia.
In order to treat jaundice you can use a variety of remedies that are readily available in your home. Take the leaves of radish and pound them in order to extract the juice. Drink a half a litre of this juice everyday — this helps clean your bowels and builds up a healthy appetite. If strictly followed, you can reduce your symptoms considerably within 8-10 days. If you do not like radish then use tomato juice, which should be drunk with a small amount (a pinch) of salt and pepper early in the morning. Finally exercise, take adequate rest and have a steam bath as often as possible. This helps the body regulate itself during the course of your treatment. Adopt a simple diet with light carbohydrates and less fat, and also avoid salt and spices.
