There are many ways of curing tongue sores naturally. Some of the most effective methods are as follows:
  • Grate a fresh coconut and use the extract for gargle.
  • Gargle with hot and cold water alternately.

  • Boil fenugreek leaves or coriander leaves in water. Strain the mixture and gargle with the strained water.
  • You can also try placing wet black tea bags on tongue sores.

This will result in quick recovery.
  • Use a mixture of aloe Vera juice and water to rinse your mouth. This will help in healing and relieving pain.
  • Try applying raw onion on the sores to get rid of the painful sores.
  • Use plum juice as a mouth wash or compress the sores with a cotton ball soaked in plum juice. This will help ease sharp stinging pain.
  • Drink a glass of warm water mixed with soda and salt. This helps to draw fluids in the sores and results in quick healing.
  • Alum is also used as a potential treatment. When applied on the tongue sores, it gives a burning sensation but gives relief from pain.
  • Baking soda can also be sprinkled on the sores or applied in the form of a paste.
  • Grapefruit extract can also be used as a mouth wash. It is a disinfectant and it helps in getting rid of the painful sores.
