Heartburn health advice
Heartburn can be taken care of quite easily at home, without the added expense of medication. You can start with cutting meat, fried food, spicy and excessively salty food from your diet. Try to stay on a diet that excludes these things for at least a month in order to get rid of your chronic heartburn completely and stop it from coming back.
Keep a glass of 50 ml milk topped with ice cubes by your side and sip from it all day. This will help soothe your irritated tract considerably. Alternately, you can also drink the water of at least three to five tender coconuts in a day.
This is also soothing to your system. Eat only fruits for breakfast. Papayas, apples, watermelons, musk melons, oranges and bananas are the most highly recommended to fight heartburn. If you must drink something, make a drink of two tablespoons of fresh unflavoured yogurt whipped into a tall glass of water. Add a pinch of rock salt to it and drink this about half an hour after you eat. It will help kill excessive acid production in your digestive tract. You can also have this drink with every meal, as it has digestive properties as well. Drink at least 10 glasses of water a day.
