Add a two-inch long piece of fresh gingerroot that has been thoroughly cleaned and chopped, grated or crushed. Boil this mixture for 3-4 minutes. Allow it to cool and add dark honey to taste. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to this and keep sipping it either warm or cold through the day.
