Home remedies for wrinkles Wrinkles are usually a result of overexposure, smoking, or the natural aging process. To reduce their appearance skin needs to be moisturized and cleansed gently over a period of time. The cleansing needs to be both internal and external. You could try a face pack made from the following. Blend fifteen drops of lavender oil with five drops each of orange oil and sandalwood oil. Add ten ml. of wheat germ oil and fifty ml. of almond oil to the mix. Apply this at least twice a week to your face and leave it on till it starts flaking. Wash gently with warm water and wipe with a soft towel. Keep doing this for about 6 months.
To make sure you create youthful looking skin from within avoid harsh chemicals such as nicotine and caffeine in cigarettes, sodas, alcoholic beverages and over-processed food. Drink lots of water and eat food with high water content such as fresh vegetables and raw fruits. Make sure you have adequate protection against the sun especially between ten a.m. to 4 p.m. as this is when the most sun damage to skin occurs. Avoid exposure to harsh sun by wearing a hat, scarf, or good-quality sun block with an SPF of 30 or above. Green tea and black tea both seem to have sun protections properties.
