Foot pain can be due to various reasons like poor posture, injury, poorly fitted shoes, and some underlying medical conditions like diabetes, obesity, arthritis, high blood pressure or osteoporosis.
- Lose weight if you are above your ideal body weight because excess weight causes extra pressure on the foot eventually causing pain.
- Massage the foot with tea tree oil in the direction of pain.
This will help to relax the muscles to a greater extent.
- While sleeping for better circulation keep your foot in elevated position for this you can place one foot pillow under your legs.
- Before going to bed soak your feet in warm water with salt in it for 15 minutes. This will help the feet to relax and ease the pain.
- If the feet pain due to poor fitted shoes change your footwear, choose shoes that are more comfortable for your feet.
Identify the actual underlying cause for your foot pain or consult a specialist for exact diagnosis, the appropriate treatment would follow accordingly.
