Natural remedies for healing cracked heels
One of the best known and oldest remedies for cracked feet and heels is to apply vegetable oil or butter after thorough soapy warm water wash. After this, you must wear socks and leave this on overnight. Follow this remedy for at least a week in order for it to begin showing results.
Another trick to try is to mash an over-ripe banana and mix it well with olive oil and milk cream. Apply this concoction to the feet and leave it on for at least two hours. Wash off with warm water and soap and then apply a thin layer of olive oil to your feet.
This will work wonders. But it has to be tried out for at least a week or so before it can show results. You can also use natural glycerine, which is easily available over the counter for smoother feet overall. Leaving it on overnight can be made a part of your daily regimen and it will keep your feet looking younger and healthier for years to come. Once the immediate problem of cracked heels is taken care of, follow a weekly routine of exfoliating them with a scrub. This will help ease off dead skin from your feet and keep them cleaner and more hygienic.
