Home cure for ear ache There are a number of home remedies that you can use for an earache. You can pour a few drops of garlic juice in the affected ear. You can grind some basil leaves to get some juice out of it.
You can then pour a couple of drops of this basil leaves juice in the affected ear. Dip a ball of cotton wool in some olive oil and heat the damp cotton wool probably in microwave just enough to warm the cotton wool. Then, squeeze the cotton ball to drain off the excess oil and place the ball in your infected ear.
Take some cloves of garlic, probably three or four, and boil them in water. Mash the mixture and add just about a pinch of salt to the mixture. You should then wrap this mixture in a piece of cloth, preferably flannel or woolen, and then keep it on your infected ear for some time. If your ear is aching because you are probably traveling by flight (an increase in elevation or height), you can chew some gum or try yawning. Either of these methods will also prevent your ears from getting blocked too easily. You can include sources of Vitamin C and zinc in your diet. Also, avoid having milk and milk products such as butter or cheese because these products might aggravate the infection. If the pain does not subside, do get your ears cleaned and checked by a medical professional.
