Gastritis Is More Than Indigestion

It is the inflammation of the stomach which triggers the defense system.



This means that the stomach is injured and the white blood cells move on to the walls of the stomach for help. The inflammation can be caused due to an infection by a bacteria which can lead to stomach ulcers.



Any other injury can also cause such problems.

Some of the other reasons for having gastritis other than bacterial infection is due to smoking, alcohol abuse, excess caffeine, irregular eating habits, greasy foods and spicy food are all causes of gastritis.



Avoid using drugs, this can be more harmful than beneficial.

Some of the methods to prevent gastritis is to eat on regular intervals and have the right kind of diet. Stop smoking completely as well as limit on the consumption of caffeine and alcohol.



Avoid taking medications which can be harmful and could create more problems. Avoid  food which would takes time to digest.

Some of the signs and symptoms of gastritis are abdominal discomfort, continuous pain between the navel and lower ribs, increasing chances of nausea in addition to vomiting.



Lack of good appetite does not help in such cases and creates more problem. Belching, bloating or the fullness of your stomach are some of the signs of gastritis.





You can take good care of yourself without the interference of a doctor. If you practice some of the basic requirements for better health there won’t be any need for a doctor. Follow regular eating habit, have a healthy diet, try to exercise regularly and avoid stress in you life.
